- Which DPI should I choose?
- 72 DPI suits on-screen previews and email. 150 DPI is a good balance for most documents. 300 DPI matches print quality and is best when you need to read fine print or zoom in.
- Can I convert only some pages?
- Yes. Tick the pages you want in the thumbnail grid, or select all with a single control. Only the selected pages are rendered.
- Does it work with a 100-page PDF?
- Yes. Pages are rendered one at a time with live progress so memory stays under control, and you can choose a lower DPI for very long documents to speed things up.
- What about password-protected or scanned PDFs?
- Scanned PDFs convert normally because each page is rendered as an image. Password-protected files cannot be opened — you'll get a clear message asking you to remove the password first.
- Are my files uploaded anywhere?
- No. PDF to JPG runs entirely in your browser using a local rendering engine, so the document never leaves your device.
