About heic to jpg

Convert HEIC to JPG on iPhone or iPad without installing an app: choose one or more photos, select the JPG quality, then download the converted images. The JPG files keep the original width and height and work with email, web forms, Windows and photo editors. Conversion happens entirely in your browser, so your photos are never uploaded. Convertora also checks the real HEIC or HEIF file before decoding it and safely refuses renamed or damaged files.

How it works

  1. 1Add one or more .heic or .heif photos, up to 25 MB each.
  2. 2Choose Standard for smaller files, High for a balance, or Maximum to stay closest to the original.
  3. 3Download each JPG, or the whole batch as a single ZIP.

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert HEIC to JPG on iPhone?
Open this page in Safari, choose your HEIC photos, select Standard, High or Maximum quality, and start the conversion. Download each JPG separately or download a batch as one ZIP file.
Where does the converted JPG go on iPhone or iPad?
Safari saves the JPG through its normal download flow. You can open it from Safari's Downloads list or the Downloads folder in the Files app, depending on your device settings.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. The decoder runs inside your browser, so the photo data never leaves your device and nothing is stored anywhere.
Does the picture change size?
No. The width and height are exactly the same as the original. Only the file format changes, from HEIC to JPG.
What happens to hidden photo information?
Re-encoding drops embedded metadata such as camera model and GPS location, which is usually welcome before sharing a photo.
Why was my file refused?
We check the actual file header, not the name. A photo renamed to .heic, a truncated download, or a different format such as AVIF is refused with a clear message rather than converted badly.
Can I convert several photos at once?
Yes, up to 30 in one batch. Each one is converted separately, so a single problem file never stops the rest.
Which JPG quality should I choose?
High is the best balance for most photos. Standard makes smaller files, while Maximum keeps the most image detail and usually produces a larger JPG.
